DESCRIPTION: |
The
ideal workshop for
advanced
photographers who
wish to better
understand and to
better use their
35mm
film SLR camera
and digital SLR
camera. You
will gain a grasp as
to how aperture and
shutter speed
control your
creative options. We
cover depth of
field, exposure
options, advanced
flash, panning and
custom functions.
We demonstrate depth
of field by varying
the distance to
subject, the focal
length of the lens
and the aperture. We
snap a series of
shots at varying
shutter speeds. Fast
shutter speeds are
selected when you
wish to stop the
action or when you
have selected a wide
aperture. They are
also essential when
hand holding long
lenses to avoid
blurred or soft
shots. Slow shutter
speeds are chosen
when you want to
create the
impression of
movement in moving
subjects such as a
waterfall or a
runner.
Whether you have a
Nikon D300 or a
Canon EOS 40D,you
will pick up
valuable tips on how
to care for your
camera in extreme
conditions, how to
hold the camera
properly, how to
pan, how to use
custom functions, to
bracket, how to use
fill in flash in
daylight and so on.
A series of on
location and quick,
practical exercises
lets us evaluate the
accuracy and
functionality of
your camera before
that big trip. A
ratio of 1:4

student means you
get maximum
attention devoted to
